Company‘s "ARVI kalakutai" lighting system modernization
„Arvi kalakutai“ is the leading turkey breeding company in Lithuania. Before modernization of the farm lighting system low voltage 14W bulbs were used. It may seem that replacement of the existing lamps by 9W LED LINE 4 illuminators, would not give the significant effect. However the economic effect comes through not only by decrease of electricity expenses.
LED lighting can mitigate bird mortality.
LED lighting is resistant to disinfectants regularly used in bird farms, so there’s no need to replace them.
Moreover having installed LED lighting power supply with control function, it became possible to adjust the lighting intensity. Thanks to all these means, the cost of 1kg turkey breeding decreased by 7%.
New lighting system investment for the company „Arvi kalakutai“ will pay off in less than two years.
