LED lighting devices do not tend to burn out when turning on/off because they are protected from sudden power surges.
LUMO lighting devices maintain the designed light emission features up to 70 000 hours, which means using 16 years 12 hours a day, the intensity of light will not drop below 70% of the design value. Only then, the change of diodes is recommended. Let us compare: fluorescent (day light) light source design time is 6.000-10.000 hours, halogen bulb – 1.000-5.000 hours, incandescent light bulb – only 1.000 hours.
