Cost effective LED lighting
LED lighting technology is the most cost-effective and environment-friendly from all to us familiar lighting technologies. Owing to special structures of light emitting diodes, preventing the loss of electricity in the form of heat, LUMO LED illuminators consume up to 10 times less electricity in comparison to incandescent bulbs.
It is meant that less amount of fossil fuel and oil resources will the consumed in power generation. This situation would allow using natural resources much more prudently, leaving their reserves for future generations. On the other hand, LUMO LED lighting property is its friendliness to the surrounding environment. The illuminators do not contain such hazardous materials requiring special disposal, like quicksilver, which is found in each fluorescent (day light) lamp.
Equally important is the fact that LED frames possess a minimalist design, what means that less of metal, plastic or other materials commonly used in the lighting industry, are expended.
The most environment-friendly LED (light diode) products are spot and linear lighting devices.
